What You’ll Do Day-To-Day

  • Maintain a team of trained and qualified Project Managers to manager A and B rated projects.  
  • Develop and implement PM policies, procedures and practices for all related projects; ensure compliance.  
  • Manage proposal management, contract negotiations, project planning and implementation for high risk and highly complex multiple product line projects from tendering to award to project execution and closeout.  
  • Serve as Member/Team Leader for PM initiatives; designing, developing and implementing standardized project management processes for world-wide application.  
  • Establishe, maintain and monitor project control and scheduling standards to ensure efficient project support.  
  • Plan and implement cost improvement programs to attain business, customer and process objectives.  
  • Work with senior management to develop/maintain PM forecasts; analyze resource requirements to support needs.
  • Manage the review of major project contracts and purchase order for terms and conditions of the contract including project deliverables, schedule milestones and commitments.    
  • Must obtain Framatome specific Project Management Certification upon hire. 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience (including at least 4 years of direct project management experience).   
  • Expert knowledge of major project management plan development, implementation and administration, including sector and project processes, procedures and tools.  
  • Knowledge of nuclear safety issues and requirements.  
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all  levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.  
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.  
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
